In case you're wondering about the lack of updates recently, things are still progressing quite nicely. That said, the build is in one of those periods where there just isn't a lot of new stuff to show. Since Rudy & I reviewed the mockup of the cab, bed & frame he moved onto a couple other clients hot rods in the shop. While it'd be cool to have my '35 be the only thing Fullerton Fabrication worked on day in and day out I don't think my checkbook could support that kind of ongoing effort. The wife is quite certain it wouldn't.
After a short hiatus Rudy & Jasper are back to the pickup & work continues on completing the channel. From there, they'll likely finish off the doors & windshield before moving onto the engine & transmission mockup & firewall modifications.
On another note, I just visited L&R Engine and the '49 Olds motor is coming along quite nicely. Not a lot of interesting pics to show though I did find the crankshaft balancing process fascinating.
