I have all sorts of time to figure out my wheel setup. Still, I thought it'd be fun to do a little multiple choice exercise in case anyone has input.
Though this represents the most basic wheel setup its arguably the one most consistent with my build theme. Lakesters in the 40's and 50's rarely had center caps or trim rings because event organizers disallowed it. Wheel trim had a tendancy to pop off during a timing run and it turns out its bad business running over chrome bits at 100mph
This setup blends the all-business look of Option A with a 15" trim ring suitable for cruising or making an impression at Bob's Big Boy
There's a host of center cap options available, but I've always been fond of the 1940 Ford Deluxe caps. If I go with caps I'll discard the trim rings
